THESE ARE NOT STRAIGHT LEG JEANS!!!! THEY ARE BOOTCUT!!! I didn't even have to open the package to figure this out since 7 printed "bootcut" on the inside of the waistband. Even if it hadn't been printed on the jeans, it is simple - STRAIGHT LEG means no taper or flare from the knee to cuff. These have an obvious flare, hence bootcut. NM should be better at product descriptions. Now I have to return them - what a pain. I am sure these are terrific, as most 7 jeans are, if a bootcut jean is what you are looking for.
