This shoe was on point. The color is a gorgeous dark brown, good heel height (not too high or low), removable ankle strap (yay! you can dress it up or down) & supple leather. I read other reviews about the sizing & calf fit so I did some research on the Fermani website (it stated go up 1/2 size from your normal size & a full size for those with a wide foot and or calfs). I wear a 7 1/2 & ordered an 8 -- it fits nice & snug. I have other boots & these mold to your feet w/time. I'm athletic but don't have big calfs. These fit great! April 16, 2013

Beautiful Boots! Superb quality. Everything you would expect from Italian shoes. The shaft is narrow but that is a plus if you just want to wear them with tights. I had no problems putting them on; I normally wear a 7.5 or an 8 and the 8 fit perfect. February 21, 2013

I LOVED these boots in the store but they didn't have my size so ordered online. The leather is so soft and gorgeous BUT they are IMPOSSIBLE to get on! You have to pull and tug on them for so long. I couldn't imagine having to deal with that every time I want to wear them so sadly, they are going back. Some people wrote they run small but I think that is due to not being able to get your foot in. Once I got my right foot in, they fit perfectly. I gave up on trying to get my left foot in!
