Absolutely gorgeous boot with beautiful soft leather. Unfortunately, I am returning them because I have thin calves and they are too wide and sag around my leg. Also, when I tried walking in them, I found the back slid up and down the back of my foot which was awkward. Really wish it would have fit better because they are so beautiful and just the design I was looking for. November 19, 2012

The leather is very soft on the shaft but more firm below the ankle. The boot should work for all casual and some casul dressy events depending on the event. Construction is excellent with leather lining and good stitching. My instep is a little high on one foot so I had to have one boot stretched; the other is a perfect size 8 fit. October 21, 2012
