It is only 19.5" wide, not 39" wide. It is a wide scarf, much too small to be a wrap unless you are very slight. More's the pity! It is a nice fabric and true to the colors pictured online. If it really was 10" or more wider it would be a wrap. If it really was 39" wide it would be a great wrap. January 31, 2013
