The description, "Elasticized collar provides a secure fit" is not true. This is a LARGE hat, and it is not adjustable or secure. There is a one inch elastic section inset into the hat band in the front -- which is not enough to compensate for the LARGE diameter of the rest of the hat band, which is not elasticized. Very soft fabric, attractive lining and well constructed. The folded over brim is attached to the small visor, which seems a little odd. Cap runs pretty big and elastic inside was not effective in adjusting the hat to fit a smaller head. It does not seem to have much stretch to accommodate a very big noggin either January 12, 2013
