Loving this loafer. An oddball of sorts, I will be making this part of my dressed-up casual (urban) rotation. An inherently in-between shoe, meaning not too dress-y and not too casual. I like the fact that these black loafers don't have the high shine which others exhibit. I can appreciate a polished loafer, but I wanted something more parred-down to wear which is where the pebbled nubuck shines (no pun intended). Pebbled leather would have been nice, too. Fitwise, this thing runs larger than most other styles/brands and I would go as far as to say it's 'vanity' sized. For example, I typically wear a size 8 dress shoe. I size down 1/2 for boots and loafers alike, and since this is an italian-made loafer I sized down 1/2 from my loafer size (a full size from my dress shoe) to get a snug fit. I felt this was the right choice due to the loafer not having laces. It runs a tiny bit narrow in shape, so a half size down from one's usual dress shoe size might suffice for some feet. Very comfy, even though the sole isn't full on leather. Overall, I'm very satisfied November 8, 2012
