Knowing these were coming from a store I was a little apprehensive buying these as a gift for my husband. But I'm glad I went with it - haven't seen this online since and they were a gem. Lace detail gave it a look different from similar styles around and on the market. Sturdy and thick sole so it's supportive for a long day of walking around. Creative Recs are always a trusted brand for construction and durability, my first pair from when pre-wedding (when we first started dating!) is still in top condition, despite heavy use. Would recommend for any age male, as these are a quick slip under your suit for a walk to buy lunch, an easy on/off shoe for quick airport ease, or a day at Disneyland with your kids. Plus, you'll never find it for this cheap at any of the 'hip' stores or online boutiques. January 2, 2013
