I needed a daytime boot to wear with wool miniskirts and this fits the bill. The distressed finish gives them a cool-elegant vibe. True to size. I wish the shaft circumference was smaller (that sounds wrong!), but that's common for me. I am small, with too-big feet. December 8, 2012

This is a beautiful boot but it runs about one size large. I typically wear a 7 1/2 but had to exchange them for a 6 1/2. I have thin calves so the boot circumference is perfect for me. November 24, 2012

These are beautiful boots. Fully leather lined. As other noted, they do fit slightly narrow but i don't have narrow feet and they are still comfortable. Same goes for sizing. I'm usually a 7.5 or 8 and i bought the 8. It's roomy but still comfortable and i'm happy i purchased the size i did. I might put in a gel heel cup to make them more comfortable. As it is, the footbed doesn't have much padding. And the heel material is hard/not rubberized. The pictures aren't good at showing that there is a full zip entry on the inside of the boot, and the laces are decorative. You can't loosen them to make the circumference bigger. I was surprised that there isn't even a small elastic panel somewhere around the top like most boots have to help with fit. I have "athletic" calves and i can just zip the boot. I'm ecstatic that these are a great fit both physically and in style. I don't anticipate that it will be difficult to break them in. November 2, 2012

This shoe is beautiful! Made in Italy! The sizing is off, though - I am a true size 8 (Italian 38) and when I ordered size 8 they turned out to be way too big so I have to size down. The boots are narrow in the foot area (which is fine by me) but long (I have extra room in the toe area) and for those who have skinny calves (I was graced with muscular ones so I have to get the boots stretched). These boots look exactly like the photo. The leather feels very high quality. We shall see how they hold up, come winter, since I have a tendency to be quite rough on my boots. Comparitavely, I have a pair of Joie riding boots, from 4 seasons ago, that have lasted very well and these boots feel like they could be contenders in the competition for top winter footwear. They also run true to size. I have a fairly narrow (but soft arch) foot, so I take an 8M. These fit great, with socks, and Im sure that they will also be fine with tights. October 9, 2012
