Lushly-hued in what the label terms "island green," this sequined tank has more going for it than its sparkle. It is one of those items that in person gives rise to a new realm of possibilities. Worn at night under a tuxedo jacket, and perhaps a plaid skirt to break up the solid look, your outfit is appropriate, sexy and pulled together. Worn with black skinny jeans and maybe a hot pink, cropped jacket or perhaps a long-sleeved, voile top with rolled up cuffs, all you need is a colorful hobo and open-toed, strappy shoes for a more casual look. Conclusion: this well-made tank, which seems to run true to size, is a steal as an investment piece. It is so lovely that I hate to "sentence" it to "doing time" in my closet! I also want to add that the color would seem to flatter any complexion and/or hair shade. I have the palest skin ever and dark brown hair, but can easily imagine the tank being worn by a redhead, blond, or gray-haired person. Would also recommend keeping jewelry to a minimum, given the sequins. Leave off dangling earrings and wear a special bangle or statement bracelet, then sit back and wait for compliments to come your way. December 16, 2012
