About Dolce Vita:
Dolce Vita was created by two aspiring shoe designers, Nick Lucio and Van Lamprou, in 2000. Before Dolce Vita, Van worked as a Buyer and Nick worked as a salesperson for a major national retailer. They wanted to take their passion for footwear to another level, so they took all their profit sharing and sold everything they owned to enroll in a Milan shoe school. After two years of designing for other companies, they realized they wanted to start their own brand of high-quality women's footwear, and thus, Dolce Vita was born. Dolce Vita channels its "sweet life" philosophy through a collection that is effortlessly stylish and flirty. Designed with a relaxed, modern trendsetter in mind, the Dolce Vita shoe line has become a contemporary favorite on both coasts.

These shoes are gorgeous! I bought them in both this black and the taupe color. I wear an 8 1/2 but in Dolce Vita pumps I always buy a 9. They fit better and allow for a little padding that always makes the shoe more comfortable. The stud embellishments on this shoe are well done, expensive looking beyond the price of the shoe and they have withstood the first wear beautifully. I received several compliments right out the gate! They are a little stiff, but with the upsize and padding, my feet are very happy....and very stylish! October 20, 2012
