I found boots fit true to size, BUT the lining (which seems like a plastic or rubber vs textile or leather) causes so much friction with my sock that I have a hard time getting my foot into the shoe part of the boot. I also worry that this lining (which does not seem to breathe) might cause undue perspiration. I have read all the reviews, and have not seen this comment yet. Has anyone else had this issue?

These boots were exactly what I was looking for but alas, my calves are too large and I could not zip them up all the way. The material was great, the width of the shoe fit great. I only wish LastCall.com had published the opening measurement. I wish I didn't have to return them. :(

I do have a narrow calf, however, after reading other reviews I believed these boots had a smaller calf circumference, especially since they have zippers and a gusset. however, I still found them to be very loose with little shape at top of my calf. Very straight up and down. And for what was a $375 boot originally, the suede is very poor quality. I sent them back. Very disappointed Donald! What was more upsetting was I had to pay $15 to ship the boots back.

I ordered this in both the distressed suede and in the smooth black leather, in half a size smaller than my usual 8 1/2 because I've so often had to size down in boots. Both boots were beautiful. The size was a close call. I wore them around the house for a couple of hours before deciding that I want more room in the boot so that thicker socks are an option. I can always use an insole to fill in the boot a little when i'm wearing them with tights. They fit my 14 inches calves like a glove and are elegant and spare with a pencil skirt. I got them over skinny jeans just fine, but I didn't like the look as much.
