I love the color, oiled suede material and simplicity of these boots. Fit is true to size. My only complaint is that the texture of the synthetic lining and footbed material is not smooth, actually kind of rubbery feeling, making it hard to get the boots on and off. February 3, 2013

The Bixby Suede Flat Boot in Espresso is a GREAT look for those of us who want the current look, but on the modest side. Rustic, but not too rough. The color is great! I am 54 years old and prefer to dress appropriately but do like a sassy edge. I am a huge fan of Donald Pliner, and this 6.5 fit me true to size. November 2, 2012

Love these! I was looking for boots to wear with tights and casual dresses and these fit the bill. The shaft is narrower than some boots which makes them perfect to wear with tights. I can still fit them on with skinny jeans though it is tight. If you have bigger calves, these are probably not for you. October 3, 2012

Ok boot if you are looking for something slightly dressier than a cowboy boot. The suede is antiqued,therefore has a worn out look great with skinny jeans or a peasant skirt, but not for anything more sophisticated. I was disappointed. September 27, 2012
