I had tried these shoes originally with the patent leather. Though I liked the shoes, the elastic edges pulling the shoe forward in the back combined with the stiffer patent leather made it uncomfortable, and I returned that pair. When I spotted this pair, I decided to try them again since I had liked the look of the shoe. This leather is much softer, and I liked the imbedded copper color threads (vs. bronze) in an otherwise subltely simplistic biege shoe. A classy touch. Do note that the square metal decos at the ends of the bow will bang and make a noise when you walk. Bothered me a little bit, but it's tolerable. July 21, 2012
Very cute shoes, but not narrow enough for my narrow foot. I have a hard time for this reason but Donald Pliner often carries designs that fit me. July 21, 2012
