The shoes have soft leather however the fit was short and very narrow. Little support. I love this brand of shoes but this pair did not live up to there reputation. I had to send them back even though I thought the design was good and leather color pleasant. April 27, 2013
THE softest, most supple shoe I own. I give it 5 stars, but be warned... It DOES run small- a good half size, maybe more. But if worn with no socks- they will conform to your feet and fit like slippers. No rubbing or blisters because the leather is super soft. SO very pretty & versatile too. Love them! March 18, 2013
When I received this shoe and opened the box, it was magical. The gold sheer paper and the Donald Pliner shoe bag was the first thing I saw. Then I picked up the shoe and caressed it, because it was sooo gloriously soft and supple. Then I slipped -- I mean I stretched and pullled it on. The 8 1/2 medium, fit so snug, that I knew I would not be able to wear it. I was so sad. But I really wanted this shoe, so I called Neiman's and asked for a size 9. The size 9 came promptly, but I must say, it must be an Italian thing and their feet must measure much smaller than mine. I am African American. I never thought that there would be a difference in the sizing and manufacturing, but I have learned. I think I will just go to a store and try the shoe on before purchasing on line again.
