Usually love the Pliner "distressed" nubuck and own many pairs from his Western Couture line and the Dasha boot but these missed the mark. The differences in shading on the black was practically nonexistent and they just didn't turn me on in general. I bought them for the distressed finish and they disappointed. I normally have to go up 1/2 size in Pliner but w/these boots I would stay true to size. December 5, 2012

Gorgeous boots, just looked so darn huge in a size 10 and were too big at that. reminded me of men's combat boots. Love Donald Pliner but these boots would only look cute in a size 7 and under. December 5, 2012

i love the style of this boot but wish the heel were a bit 1.5 inches lower. it is well made and the leather will soften nicely. this is my first donald shoe....i almost always take a 7 in all shoes but these run a half size long. i will keep my 6.5 and send the 7 back. November 10, 2012
