Online this dress doesn't look like much and I was very hesitant to purchase. I had just had my first child 2 weeks prior and I hadn't bought anything for myself in months as my body was temporarily being rented out by my little girl. I figured I'd take a chance and treat myself and if it didn't fit, I could always return it in the store once I healed from my C-section. What a treat this dress turned out to be - it's my new favorite! I love the soft luxurious feeling of the silk, while still feeling casual and carefree. The drawstring flatters the figure I finally got back and want to show off (subtly) after all these months - it's the perfect length - and I wear it EVERYWHERE. I've dressed it up with pearls for our babies first outing to family dinner - and I can look classy and sophisticated in this beautiful shirtdress like a mother should look AND still look young, demure, and sexy like I did pre-mommyhood! I feel like I can even wear this in the office to see patients in the professional setting once I return from maternity leave. This dress can go anywhere and do anything.
