These have surprised me by being a more 'go to' hoop than I had anticipated. First, they have a little bit more sparkle than the photo shows. There are small and fine bits of shimmer as you move with the surface of these hoops. Second, they have worked well with many necklaces that I didn't have quite the right earrings to pair them with. So these are a good purchase! They would not overpower a more dressed down look and they have enough shimmer to work well with a dressier ensemble, too. If you want all out bling - these would not fulfill that role - but they are a great pair of hoops. February 10, 2013
