I usually wear size four. When I looked at the picture it looked tight fitting so I ordered a size 6. When I received it I tried it on, it was still too tight and short. The material was very flimsy. I had to return it. January 21, 2013

I followed other reviews for French Connection and sized up. I love the red and black stripe pattern on this dress and it's soft cotton. Received quite a few compliments from both men and women too. I wore it with black tights and black flats, since I'm 5'10". Really love this brand--as this is the 2nd dress I've purchased from this site. December 15, 2012

I love this dress. It does run a size small. I am a size 2 and sometimes a 0 but ordered this in a 4 and it fit perfect. It is a very body con dress and shows it all off. Thin material so not much can be hidden. Good party or casual dress. I wore it with black tights and pumps. It's also a short dress. But the stripes on this one are in the right places. This is not a dress and it is not a sweater. The fabric is very thin and looks like a long t-shirt. It is ill-fitting and certainly is not worth much more than the price of a t-shirt. I returned this item. December 1, 2012
