I took off a star because these gloves do run very small. I normally wear a size 6, but the medium was fairly tight on me (in these gloves.) However, although I can see what the earlier reviewer was referring to insofar as the quality of the leather not being as fine as Italian made leather gloves, I would not go so far as to characterize it as "plastic" looking. (I think that was the reference,) The color is almost bordering on black-looking until it is seen in light. And then it is a lovely deep blue with purple undertones, lined with black silk. My feeling is that with wear, the leather will become more supple and look much better. January 30, 2013

I'm an avid collector of gloves and have bought lots of gloves from Neiman's, so I was expecting a certainly level of quality that these gloves are not. First, the gloves are made in China, not Italy. (The website just says "Imported" and since the "Compare To" price is $100, I expected that a pair of plain, silk-lined gloves with no embellishments would be made in Italy.) Second, the leather has a plastic-like finish to it and is not as fine or as supple as Italian gloves (note that they are slippery on the steering wheel because of that - exactly the opposite of what I look for in a glove which is to grip while driving). At any rate, the only reason I kept them is that the color is nice and for $42 I can live with the lower quality for a pair of everyday gloves that I'll wear for one season and then trash. But be warned that these are not fine Italian gloves and the price really isn't a bargain. Also agree with the other reviewer that they are cut very narrow across the knuckles. I'm a 7-1/2 and ordered a large and it's a bit snug. They'll stretch of course, so it's OK, but they run tight width-wise. December 1, 2012

Unfortunately I had to return these gloves for a larger size. They run very, very small. A previous purchase of Neiman Marcus gloves of medium size fit perfectly, but these do not. Run small. November 10, 2012
