Absolutlely beautiful bag but it seemed a little flimsy. wouldn't stand up all by itself so that's kind of a problem for a tote. Leather was very thin so I had the impresssion it might peel off easily. So I sent it back January 5, 2013

My friend and I fell in love with this bag on a girls wine tasting weekend. Neither of us felt we wanted to spend the full retail price but we couldn't get Sheila off our minds. I wanted to love this bag - it's beautiful leather, I love the adorable lining, and the hardware is sturdy. But the leather is very thin and as a consequence, the bag is really floppy - not only does it not remotely stand up on its own, the corners of the bag sag and flop (unless, I guess, you had it filled with something square/rigid). This is also because the handles aren't very big, and are very much in the center of the bag, so there's nothing to hold up the corners of the bag. I was looking for a work-appropriate purse/brief/tote kind of thing, and concluded this was too floppy/saggy. I also realized I like something rectangular rather than square. It is a lovely bag, but just not quite right for the look I was going for. So sad! October 22, 2012
