These shoes have some charm. They are, afterall, purple pony skin, with decorative perforations. But the shape of the shoe is not very high-style. The toe is too blunt and rounded to make your foot look elegant. So they are fine for running around and casual wear. They are cut a little large, but are still close to the right size. I got the black pair and the purple pair - both were lovely. I read the review of both of them and ordered the 38 (someone said the their review that they were huge) and the 38.5 (size 8.5). I tried on the 38 (size 8) but not huge just too small with the stiff toe box mentioned in another review. So I tried the 38.5 and they were marked correctly BUT exactly the same size, toe-to-heel, as the 38. Both went back and I'm going to try a size 9. Wish me good luck. March 30, 2013
I really like the color & design of these shoes. They look good on. My only concern is that they are definitely on the wide side. I saw another reviewers comment that the toe box is really stiff. I found that is a wee bit stiffer but doesn't hamper wear. February 23, 2013
