This was my first James Perse purchase. I usually wear LnA, but heard a lot of great things about JP. When I received the shirts they weren't very soft at all, but felt scratchy. The fit was also very awkward and inconsistent (the hemline was shorter on one). I returned them. I decided to order some short sleeve shirts directly from JP, just to verify they all felt this terrible. Turns out they don't! They are very soft and it must be these particular shirts that are bad.
