Though I rarely see it, I understand James Perse typically offers a 0. If that's true of this dress, then the fit is small by typical of my experience with the brand. I typically wear an XS (5'6"; 110lbs) and find the JP size 1 to be just a bit loose, but tolerable. This dress fit exactly that way. It feels like wearing a really flattering T-shirt as a dress and looks exactly as it does on the model. I found the shoulders to be a tiny bit loose, but I think one round in the dryer will eliminate that problem. The dress is knee length on me and the sleeves touch my elbows. The V is pronounced, but not so deep that I feel the need for a cami. The rouching was nice but not overdone to the point of making the dress heavy and difficult to pack. Overall, I like this dress and expect to get a lot of wear out of it this summer. March 14, 2013
