These are Beautiful boots!! They were even better than expected.Shaft is soft suede, not rigid.Bought for a 18 yr old grand-daughter /w fingers crossed that she would like them. They were a big HIT !! Bought a size 9 and she wears a 8.5-9 normally. Fit was great.She is about 5'8" and about 150 lbs, a soccer player ,so she has strong legs.The color is a dark chocolate and is dressy for a boot /wo a high heel. They look very good /w a skirt and with jeans,too. Athletic is my grand-daughter's body style. January 3, 2013
