This military-style boot is reasonably priced and is comfortable right out-of-the-box; very little break-in period. The vamp-to-calf zipper helps them fit like a glove. Versatile enough for any wardrobe. Relaxed enough to be worn with jeans; due to the cap toe, edgy enough to be worn with a dark suit. Very unique style, due to the lacing system and the zipper (which also provides for quick on / quick off). Rugged, yet refined. Great to see that it will span more than one season. If only it were made in brown as well! October 23, 2012
