I actually really like the fit of this jacket. The fabric is a lightweight jacquard so it's not a cold weather jacket. Like most of Lafayette 148's designs, it fits my body well and is quite nicely tailored. It runs true to size. The pockets are slightly ruched but don't add bulk. It also has ruching which lays flat along the princess seams on the back. Unfortunately, I'm returning the jacket not because of size or style, but because the color is a lot more vivid than pictured. I thought it was going to be soft turquoise on a brown background, but it is actually a bright turquoise on a charcoal-black baclground -- too intense for my Spring coloring. Pretty jacket, though. I just received this jacket and am not sure if I'm going to keep it yet. I don't like the gathering on the top of the pockets as it makes you look bigger. The gathering at the seams isn't that flattering. Nice print and fit. February 16, 2013

This is just as I had hoped when viewing the photograph. The fabric is a very nice quality, soft luster and nicely embroidered one. It is lightweight fabric, but with a sweater underneath it can be good for transitional weather. The only disappointment is in the buttons, they are too plastic looking, so I will change them out. The fit was just right, which I find is usual for me with this brand. I was happy to get a high quality jacket for a lower price! January 5, 2013
