This is a cute jacket, but it is more like a sweater because it is not lined and a little scratchy inside. I wear with a tee under mine. The silver shimmer is very classy. February 13, 2013

Nice jacket, was hoping to love it b/c of the little extra sparkle and the embellishment at the waist. Also, great price for this wonderful brand. It looked fine, fit true to size (I usually am size 16 and fairly broad shoulders and larger chest but was able to snap). But for just some reason, didn't "love" it on me - maybe b/c the coloring wasn't right for my fair skin tone. So, great jacket, just not for me. January 27, 2013

First, I should say I'm a big Lafayette 148 fan for work clothes. I work in a profession that still requires suits on many days and I hate boring "lawyer" clothes. Lafayette 148 has some beautiful options without being boring. I bought the summer version of this jacket in cream and found it incredibly versatile, so when I saw this gray/black version for fall/winter, I couldn't resist and honestly, I like it even better - the black contrasting trim just makes the jacket. I would say the description of 'slim boxy' silhouette is accurate. I've found the fit runs true once you know your size (I am a definite 6 in a Lafayette 148 jacket, for example). This will look great with a black sheath dress, a skirt, slacks or even jeans and heels. December 12, 2012
