These pants are a nice, rich red and the fabric is light-weight. That said, they do not feel terribly luxe and the leg openings are small (in the calf area). I normally wear a 29 or 30. Got these in a 30 and the calves were too tight, although the waist fit. As for length, they ran true-to-size. I'm 6-feet tall, and they were a little short, but not unbearably so for skinny jeans. i like the MEK denim brand however not sure about the structure of this item. i ordered a 30 & a 29 --the 29 is SUPER TIGHT & size 30 fit but WILL stretch the back area..showing a sag or saggy bottom.because the denim will stretch throughout the day. with the size 30 i would need to do too much alteration - hem & take the waist in & take in in the leg area to prevent the sagging. & i like the worn denim look but i am sure after a few washing the red will fade & definitely not my style. overall this might work for a tall person. the 29 is super tight & the 30 fits but will require alterations. would not recommend going down in size. true to size October 19, 2012

I generally wear a 29 in designer jeans (joes, Paige). I recently bought a pair of 28s from J Crew. I have another pair of MEKs in a boot cut (not sure of the style name) in a 29 and its a little large in the waist. I ordered a 28 and a 29 in these jeans. From the low thighs down, there jeans are TIGHT!! The 29s fit from the ankles to the hips. The waist was too big. The 28s.... Wow. The legs are soooo skinny, it really was a chore to get them on. Once I got them on, the waist was actually perfect, but the rest of them were skin tight. That wouldn't work. I returned both pair. The color is FANTASTIC! Now, I'm honestly thinking about buying the 29s again. Looking at my wardrobe, most of my pants are too big in the waist in order for the hips to fit. These would be no exception. These are on such a discount right now, it might be worth taking them to a seamstress to get the waist fixed. Bottom line, these fit true to size. I'm 5'9" and the length was perfect. Even having spandex, there didn't seem to be as much stretch as some of my other jeans. Give them a shot. Last call prices are so reasonable. Easy returns. October 13, 2012
