I love this watch! I purchased it for work since it is ceramic and it doesn't scratch. So now I don't have to worry about it getting messed up by rubbing on my desk all day. As for the band be shiny or not I believe it is really shiny. It's not a metallic shine but more like a polished shine and as far as it looking like plastic/rubber, it doesn't at all! Love this watch. I had compared this to some other Michael Kors watches, and this stood out as the most unique and elegant, and a great price at Last Call. The ceramic band definitely is a favorite feature, and the face of this watch is gorgeous. The color is very unusual, and looks stunning with silver jewelry - I've received many compliments, and the girls at the local Michael Kors boutique had never seen this one before, and said they absolutely loved it - one of them said she HAS to find one for herself. This watch is GRAY. Before you buy, note that the picture is not what's being sold... what's shown looks white or off-white while the gray color of the actual watch is more like a putty color. November 28, 2012

I think the face of the watch is lovely, but I wish the band was a little more shiny!! I would have given it a 5 star if the band was prettier. Will wear it with casual clothes rather than dressy!! Still a very good buy for a Michael Kors!! October 31, 2012
