This bag/tote is made of a very poor quality material. The material appears and feels like a vinyl with polyester backing of some type. It is not a lining. The handles are extremely weak and will not last if used as it is designed. I saw, picked up and felt a tote at Katy Mills that was leather without a backing attached. The tote I ordered looked exactly like the one in Katy.The one pictured on line was exactly like the one at Katy. I thought that I was buying the same product because the picture was the same. However, I did not receive the one I ordered. I received a very poor quality copy. The one at Katy Mills was leather and much stronger. Not only was the handles stronger so was the body of the bag itself. The color is great and the same, but the bag that arrived is not the same one for sale at the Katy Mills store in Houston/Katy Tx.. October 24, 2012

Love this! Pretty color, exactly as pictured (how often does THAT happen online....), very sturdy, not real leather but looks like it, loads of room, holds everything - I actually bought FOUR of these - 1 East-West, 3 North-Souths. Not a whole lot of difference between the EW and the NS, btw. You have to hold them up to each other to tell which is which. I think the handle on the EW is a little longer, and EW is a little wider. The NS is basically the dimensions of a true paper shopping bag, the kind the grocery uses. October 6, 2012

love,love, LOVE my summer tote! I bought this bag to use as my carry-on for an international trip and I was able to fit a change of clothes, sneakers, my make up bag and travel wallet with room to spare. The leather is super soft and supple, so be careful when putting the bag under airplane seats (I tucked the entire bag into the cloth sack that it ships with to protect it and it still looks brand new!)
