Classic boot. These are my new favorites. The sole is thinner and more dressy than Docs. They are flexible and comfortable right out of the box. February 9, 2013

Bought these online, and thankfully they were not cheaper in store (actually, they weren't on sale at the store ... nor at Off 5th either!). But the more important thing was the fit. This would be hubby's first pair of boots, and without ever owning a pair before, I was worried about how they'd fit. He doesn't have weird feet, but well, you know ... women's sizes vary from designer, to style, all that madness. But I digress... He's a size 10, and it fit him just fine. He's wearing thin calf socks, and imagine you could wearer a slightly thicker pair if it was a bit colder where you are. After wearing them for a full day he doesn't feel the pinch on the pinky toe, or like his midsole is constricted - so overall a great find and a great gift! January 2, 2013

VERY well made, VERY stylish. No one else will have these boots. BUT ... They fit so large and don't come in 1/2 sizes, so they're nearly impossible to fit. I ALWAYS wear a 9. ALWAYS. The size 9 Penguin Jerry Boot slopped around on my foot like a pair of galoshes. Easily a size too big. So I enchanged for a size 8. And that one was too tight. I could barely fit my foot in at all. And the arch didn't fit my foot either. The footbed was stiff and terribly uncomfortable. This is a beautifully made boot. All the right elements in all the right places. A real shame I have to return these. October 19, 2012
