These pointed-toe pumps have a great style and comfortable insole. The suede is a true black and does not have an overly matte finish. The sides of the shoes are definitely cut low; the outer side of the left shoe cuts into my foot a bit. They also subtly 'squeak' when walking. I think they just need to be broken in. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase - can't beat the style & price. December 27, 2012
I would recommend going down a half-size in these shoes. Usually I'm a 10 in heels (given that I want a little wiggle room), but the 10 was too big in these and I was walking out of them, especially if I had wanted to wear them with hose. The shoes are cute, but I would have wanted maybe a 1/2 inch in a platform to make them a little more comfortable. They are a cute, plain, black suede but do fit a little large. December 26, 2012
