The purse itself is beautiful....reading about the "spikes at the base", I thought they would be on the bottom...unfortunately, they were on the sides...8 altogether and for such a beautiful purse, so ugly..and that's why I returned it....don't understand why the designer would not have used a small rounded metal for extra strength...terrible decision!
