First with the good. Very cute. Love the toe. I've been searching for a toe that is not too round but not cowboy boot pointy. This boot is perfect. They are tighter in the calf area which is what I was looking for. I have another pair of riding boots that are just too loose. I am 5'9" and these are not true "knee high" boots on me but who cares - they were close enough. Now the bad. I wore these twice. Once in the car on a 3 hour trip and once to work. I noticed after my second wearing that the stitching in the back of the left boot was already coming out causing the boot to start to come apart. It would most likely be an easy fix for a shoe maker but I just didn't think I should have to pay to have them fixed after having them less than 30 days and wearing them all of two times so back they went. Sam Edelman shoes wear well and are nicely constructed so I think I just got a bad pair. I would still recommend these boots. They are very cute on. I wore them once with jeans and once with a knit dress and tights. Now I need to decide if I should take a chance and reorder them. October 22, 2012

i actually sent these back. the zipper is very strange, it runs the length of the boot, but only unzips part way because fabric is sewn over the inside. They also run on the large side. October 20, 2012
