This St. John dress is very flattering. The lovely tailoring and top stitching keep it from being plain. This Is a classic, timeless piece that can be dressed up or down. The length is perfect for someone over 50, who doesn't want to hide their legs but at the same time doesn't want to look like she is wearing her daughter's dress. St. John knits always pack and travel very well. The color (which falls between fuchia and orangy-red) crosses all seasons and can easily be worn with black or nude shoes. I usually wear size 6, but in St. John I size down to a size 4 (which fits perfectly) because their clothes are cut generously. February 7, 2013

This dress is fun to wear! The eye catching "lipstick red" has been described as raspberry, hot pink, and red by admirers. Whatever the name, it is skin flattering and youthful. As are the classic trim lines, which also made the most of my figure. Great holiday choice! December 8, 2012
