I watched this dress for some time online until it went on sale. It was a splurge but OK it's St. John. I was pleasantly surprised that the size that I purchased, a 12, was too large when some of my other 12's require foundation garments. I was very disappointed that the quality of the fabric was poor. The knit was thin and did not seem well woven. It would have worked well for photo's but it was definitely not the usual St. John quality. April 20, 2013

This is a beautiful dress HOWEVER NOT is these colors. I also bought this dress in the white and salmon color. I think they call it white and Lipstick and it's gorgeous. I had to return it though because I have a teeny bit of cellulite in my tushy and the white knit is sheer enough to see my unpleasantly placed dimples :-( I bought the full red colored St. John dress instead. Finally, I bought myself a St. John outfit. This dress fits like a dream. The material is luxurious. I can tell you it is slimming and comfortable. I travel a lot, so I need something that won't wrinkle but will look great all the time. This is it. Well worth the money. October 19, 2012
