I received my Stuart Wietzman Clute Quilted Boots yesterday and was way more than happy with the quality! They are beautiful. They feel and look a lot like my lambskin quilted bag made by another famous company. This is a smooth napa upper, which means leather treated to feel like glove softness. The entire boot is immaculately crafted, and I am very particular. I wear a 9.5 in famous branded heavy leather casual engineer/motorcycle boots, and these fit a lot like the broader oval toe box version of the brand. I usually wear an 8.5 in shoes, but with socks the 9.5 was good because I have a wide foot. There is a thin fabric cushion lining in these, so they won't stretch way out. I have a thin ankle & calf and have just enough room to tuck in pants. The souls and heels are excellent materials and grip with the grooved rubber on leather. I am shorter, and they actually come up to my knee so much that they bend under when I sit, but they are soft as butter so it doesn't irritate a bit. They are gorgeous, just like the photo. The foot part is a thicker feeling leather, but not hard like my casual boots. They would be too narrow in an 8.5 in the medium width available here, but the larger size works great for me. I don't have to unzip them, so they could hold a larger ankle and calf, but not huge. I do love them so much and now I want the brown ones before they are all gone. Timeless. December 1, 2012

These boots are gorgeous! It was a pretty good deal on sale (even though still a little bit expensive). The quality of the leather is amazing. I am 5'4 and about 116LBS, normal sized feet. I originally ordered my regular size 7 and it seemed to fit lose and awkward around the ankle area, I went down half a size and it fits better. Not something I recommend for people with wide calves, other than that, it's a class gorgeous pair of boots that goes with everything! October 19, 2012

I purchased a pair of Stuart Weitzman quilted boots. This is my second pair. I love this product and the fit is always perfect. I have twiggy legs, and Weitzman recognizes that a size 10 doesn't always mean wide calves. The style is eternal, allowing me to wear equestrian-looking boots when I'm not riding my horse. After checking out store after store for boots, I came upon these gorgeous boots! I purchased a pair for my daughter and loved them so much, got myself a pair. A lot of boots are wide at my calf. These fit perfectly. So if you need a wide-calf boot, you may be disappointed in the fit. I did read other reviews stating that these boots ran large. My daughter and I both took our normal size. I first tried a half size down. The length fit but the width was snug. Doable, but I prefered my regular size. I do not wear a wide size. Definitely worth the purchase and I would highly recommend. Also, VERY COMFORTABLE! I wore them all day at work and then all evening! October 13, 2012
