I have a narrow foot but can no longer wear narrows due to a bunion. The style helps hold my foot in place but I have to add heel pads to keep my foot from slipping. The elastic part is not great looking but the rest of the shoe is very nice. The heel height is also comfortable. I typically stay under 1.5" heel but these are fine. November 17, 2012
