Born to an artistic family in Bucharest, Yoana Baraschi studied sculpture before moving to Paris, where she spent time at a number of fashion houses. Eventually she moved to New York and ultimately became the creative director at Betsey Johnson before launching her own eponymous label in 2002. Her collection of dresses reflects her world travels with intricate hand detailing and global-inspired prints.

I love how its something fresh and elegant. Its hard to find something to wear at night that does not make you feel hot or uncomfortable! January 4, 2013
This designer is tops for me and this dress doesn't let you down in terms of quality and beautiful drape. The reason I did not give it a 5 is because the litlle rise on the sides of the dress at the leg are just funky and not flatteirng, in my opinion. Someone else might see it differently but I didn't keep it for that reason! December 8, 2012
